2010 La Biennale di Venezia

My first and most important impression by this year Biennale is Rem Kolhas. I see him, I look at him, and it seems to me, even watching him you become smart:)))... and understand more about architecture. You understand love architecture inside yourself but not you in architecture. I just had opportunity shake his hands and say my congratulations to Old Dragon of modern architecture! Gold Lion was given him on this Biennale.

Mercedes-Benz museum Stutgart

First time I saw so clearly that look of building so much depends on basic idea. This building depends on idea by Mersedes cars. These cars often are like sofa... camfortable and without passion. So and this museum. Perfect in constraction, but too static in impressions... It has a lot of nice joints and details, but does not has one-piece movement.

Actually it is really something fresh, building where floor is not 2-dimenshions surface, and space breathing little bit up and down...

Calatrava brige in Venice

Venice not accepts something new, really... I expected to see fresh and glamorous brand looks bridge by Calatrava as new pearl of Venice, piece of new age near the gate to ancient town. But just a few days it was opened, it again with scaffolds, dusted and dirty. I can't make pictures from some sides because of crowds of wast near it's stands... Bridge has a lot of fine details, made very accuracy and carefully, except of welding of subconstractions. So, my impressions confused... Not so clear... But it is Calatrava! Help to my mind!:)

Milan 2010 Cor & interlubke - huge problems of furniture monsters

Second Milano exhibition dyring economy crises... Last one was the test for first shock of furniture makers, all of them asked each other about forecast for finish bad economy situation. And just await good news.

This year all understand that it is for long time... And try adapt for these problems. Adapt in very different ways. I look for evidence of future progress on stends of real newsmakers, as I am used to think about Cor & Interlubke, for example.

Venice - black and white

It is not my first time in Venice, but these pictures most clousely reflect my perception of this ancent town.
Black and white also help lose oneself in atmosphere of fogoten medieval island.

_ Lago Maggiore turned over piramid variation

This variation is turned over piramid opposit to mountains. It gives the most terrases space for sun and joy. As well as it take minimum place for basement and saves the rock and nature.
